Hi All,

So over the weekend I installed the Yatour Bluetooth Handsfree USB module. It should be able to play music via the USB, BT and AUX on the module but USB does not seem to work when i set my radio to CDC mode. Now I know that might be a problem with the module but I thought I might mention that. Secondly, whenever I'm listening to the CD or AUX for some reason the FM keeps interfering. By that I mean the radio keeps switching to FM for no reason automatically. Could it be because of the module that I connected? Faulty/incorrectly inserted connections at the back of the stereo? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

I think it did when i tried but I will give it another try at lunch break in a couple of hours or so.

You probably already know it, but if this was a simple plug-in module with pre-made cables and plugs, there is something incompatible between Yatour Bluetooth and your centre console unit. Somehow the console thinks it is receiving a "radio on" instruction, but not the same as the instruction from your dashboard or steering wheel mode button.

If there were settings and adjustments (eg dip switches) you had to make on installation, you have some hope that perhaps you set something to an incorrect setting and you can try reinstalling the unit.

Don't be afraid to ask for your money back if the unit does not perform as advertised. If it was plug and play and it is not doing that, you weren't sold the product you ordered. There are some negative reviews on Amazon for Yatour units, with people having similar issues as you, and then there are also good reviews where the Yatour just works as it should.

There are other brands mentioned on this forum with which people have had success. (grom?)

Good luck.
