Vtec sport 6 gen
Hi,does anybody know where the locking control unit is located on a 01 sport?

I've just got the car and it only has a key so I was hoping to find out which frequency it has and then I can order the correct fob.

It it's same as 7th gen then it's the MICU (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit) which is built into (and behind) the fuse box in the driver's side panel.
I think that the receiver unit on 6th gen is behind the glove compartment.
 
Cheers.After looking for MICU instead,I found out it's where it is,it's where the fuse box is driver's side.I still haven't got around to checking what's on it..
 
There will be a sealed module on the back of the fuse box, that is the MICU (Multiplex Integrated Control Unit) which is an "intelligent" device.
 
I was lucky enough to see a person who did fobs on ebay for all cars.All I had to do with send him my reg number and he told me which one I needed.Got it and now coded and works a treat.It was a new fob sent with the coding instructions all in £30.
