There two strips sticking out on either side of the front bumper on the 7 gen started flaking badly and made the front end look awful.
I bought the tool below and started removing the paint, the strips are actually made from a hard rubber compound and not plastic and the paint peels away nicely with the tool.
Once all the paint was removed, a clean followed by application of back 2 black vynil shine or Baby oil, the grey rubber strips actually blended in well with the grey colour of the front bumper.
My next job is to get a primer & spray paint and attempt to colour code them, however if your car is grey like mine then they blend in well anyway.
