Hello Guys
Do you know the spec of the speakers in 8th Accord Executive Tourer and specifically the subwoofer?
I want to upgrade the speakers if someone has done it please share some information.
I already put Pioneers 3 way on the front doors, but I find that the mids are now a bit too much so I will replace them again.
 
You could use a crossover to reduce mid range sound

My 7th gen Exec came with factory-fitted Premium Sound system which has an external power amplifier with separate feeds to each speaker in the car, and thus the power amp will have active filtering.

Thus it depends on the spec of the car as to how the speakers were supposed to match in the first place.
 
agreed it has been a long time since i used to install audio all these new cars have like 4 models of unit in one model very confusing :angry:
 
8th gen has about 12 speakers in the cabin.

i'm a bit confused about the below genuine honda accord speaker upgrade::

I'm looking to upgrade the speakers, but the webpage mentions: "Note: Not to be used in-combination with premium audio installation in rear trunk panel."

The EX has 3 speakers in the boot for the rear parcel shelf, so i don't understand that note.....will send them a note for clairfication.
