Hi, everyone..I bought a friends 2001 i.8is v-tech 5sp...they had problems with the electrics...the car has been in a crash at one time & the electrical repairs look like it was diy... my boyfriend & I repaired the loom properly & changed the ecu from a 2001 F20b & I,m getting codes 1166 & 1167...the sensor checks out OK both voltage & ohms...now I discovered that the 1.8 & the 2.3 use the same 02 sensors...the 2.0 uses different sensors...I think I have the wrong ecu I have a PDC E12...can anyone with a 98-02 1.8 v-tech 5sp. manual tell us the number on your ecu or can you pull the carpet back & check the no. so I can get a good secondhand one...my local Honda dealer has been useless.

Freddo, Thanks for that...Iv,e used Lings for parts & found them great...the part no. comes up as P552935 unavailable & when I google it does not give me a number or any info...this is why I ask the members to help & check the no. on their ecu,s.. so I will know with this no. I can get an ecu. that is powering a running car.

Freddo, Your a genius...I was removing the FKL so I was getting the wrong no...searching now for a replacement ecu...will let you know how I get on...thanks for your help.

Freddo, how did you convert the the Lings L20 parts list to give you the Honda part no...I,m not great at these computer things...the second parts list no. for the ECU is 37820 PDA E11...not E01 as you have...got one on the bay from Chertsy 30 plus 7 postage.

You're correct, it is 37820-PDA-E11 , I missed the final "1" off the end in #4 and then found 37820-PDA-E01 instead.

That's why it's best to go through the complete process oneself.

I've typed out the process on how to change PFKL to Honda numbers on many threads in the past, there's also a thread pinned in the "Honda Accord Chat" area
