Low Coolant Temp

Hi guys, looking for a 2nd opinion.

My coolant temperature gauge once the car gets going rises to 1/3 on the gauge and never goes above this no matter if i'm pounding it on the motorway for 1 hour straight or if i'm sitting in start/stop traffic.

Is this normal?

Most cars I have had the coolant temp gauge sits around the half way mark.

I'm thinking the engine is running cool due to maybe a fault with the thermostat letting too much coolant through?
Maybe i'm just paranoid?

My car is a Honda Accord Euro 1.8i 2002

If the temperature varied the system wouldn't be working correctly. If the heaters working I don't think you have a problem.

7th gen Accords and 8th gen Civics have temp gauges which read noticeably under half way under normal conditions. I would expect a 6th gen Accord to be the same.

I've got a 6th Gen and mine used to be at about 1/3 however in the summer, it's just under halfway.

Yep that's normal...Mines normally sits about a 1/3 up on the gauge.
