Ok it's been a while since I've posted but here I am with a problem.
I got a dash clock from a 2000 accord 2.0 and thought with the original plug that I would be able to tap into the stereo wires but apart from sussing out that the pink wire on the clock plug is the power wire and the black one being the earth I'm at a loss.
The wires I have left are red/black wire and a yellow wire. If I tap into the constant feed yellow wire from the stereo loom obv the clock is on all the time and if I tap into the ignition live it doesn't save the time everytime I turn the ignition off.

My question is can I leave the clock wired in to be on all the time even when the ignition is off and car locked or will it drain my battery overnight?

Sorry for delay as far I know they are wired with permanent and ignition live easy enough to find with a multimeter
