2003 Type S Tourer
I've got a 2003 type S tourer.

About a week or so ago the blower stopped working and i'd appreciate any advice on diagnosing the fault. I believe it could either be a fuse, the resister or blower motor.

The buttons all still work and the air does still flow a tiny bit (more when you go faster) and the temperature still works (still blows hot or cold).

Appreciate any advice on what I should change first or how to diagnose what I should change first.

Many Thanks

Have you been through the fuse boxes checking? There are markings inside the lid to explain which one is which.

Fuse 21 in main fuse box in engine compartment. There's also a blower-motor relay in there.

Has the same with our frv last year, it was the blower itself. Easy to change just got one from the breakers.

Think you might have diagnosed it chaps. I appear to be missing fuse 21.

Does anybody have the spec for that fuse? I see it is 40amp but looks an unusual size.

Cheers

Bit odd that the fuse is now missing when the blower was working a week ago!
hopefully "missing" is a semantic for "the wire in the fuse has burned out"

'Spose so. But it doesn't bode well that a 'robust' fuse has blown.

Maybe swap it for another 40A fuse in the fusebox one that fits?

My money is on the blower unit itself.
