Sat Nav Out for Repair - Will car still work OK?

My satnav on my 2012 Exec Estate needs to come out.....its just behind rear seats with lots of multi pin connectors.
If I remove it for repair will everything else in the car work OK until its back in?

Disc error and disc not loaded messages now coming up. Worked perfectly until I tried to update it with a genuine Honda disc.....now its stuck in. Noticed orange / dirt when I attempted to push the disc with a feeler gauge wet wipe.

Anyone had similar issues?

I don't have experience of this, other than my Sat Nav starting to exhibit disk errors too.

However, whilst not impossible it is incredibly unlikely that it would affect the rest of the car. E.g. you could remove the lamps, stereo, interior lights, windscreen motor, etc but the car will still start.

When the company doing the repair comes to do the work remember to ask them outright and if necessary get them to sign a statement of work confirming that the vehicle will remain able to drive afterwards.
