Replacing exterior windscreen rubber seal/trim

Hi,
I have a Mk7 Accord but my sister has a 2002 Accord Sport. The exterior windscreen rubber on her car seems to have shrunk in the upper left and right corners and therefore peeled away from the groove that it sits in. I'm thinking the existing rubber is too distorted to use again, but I wonder if anyone has any experience and/or tips about replacing this rubber, which runs around the outside of the windscreen?

Is it possible to glue it down with some sealant like Tiger Seal?
I had a small part come away after a windscreen replacement and that was the most practical solution put forward on the forums.
