https://vehicleenqui....uk/ViewVehicle

Put the UK reg into there and if it comes back with the details (Make, Date of first reg, year of manufacture, engine cc, etc)  then do as explained in #2.

If it comes back with "Vehicle details could not be found" then you'll have to call them on the phone number, or email them.

Sadly, here in the UK, they usually come out with the "data protection act" which means that they will only talk to the present owner of the vehicle.

The link in #2 has a link to a V62 (application for a V5C) , here is the link to the V62 --> https://www.gov.uk/g...ion-certificate

You should be able to download it, fill it in, and post it. With the form, I would also send a picture of the car with a letter briefly explaining how you ended up with the car and that you need the V5C to register the car in Bulgaria.

From the DVLA site it is currently SORNed which means the database has no detail of the car being sold, nor exported.

Interesting

A car shipped abroad remains on SORN, but if sold to a new owner within striking range of the DVLA, they remain at risk of a fine.

Coincidence ?

Statutory Off Road Notification

If it's out of the country it's not on the road in the UK

DVLA wn't send a replacement V5C to another state, you need to apply for a cert of Permanent Export from the DVLA.
