Tyre pressure advice for 2.4 s type exec

Looked on the door jam and the pressures quoted are for 16inch wheels.

Just bought my car so unsure if the 17s fitted are standard, where an option or have been fitted by previous owner.

What should the pressures be?
Door says;
Tyre Pressures -
Front 32 (2.2) Rear 30 (2.1)
Fast
Front 38 (2.6) Rear 36 (2.5)
For
Tyres 205/55R16 91V

But..
The tyres fitted are 225/45 r17

Managed to find a webpage with the picture of the door jam for a 2.4 with 17inch wheels.

Figures are:-
General
Front 33 (2.3) Rears 32 (2.2)
Fast cruising
Front 35 (2.4) Rears 33 (2.3)

This is for 225/45R17

Interesting that the pressures on your model increase for 'fast cruising'. On my pre-facelift diesel tourer (with 16" wheels as standard) the pressures increase in relation to load carried, not whether I plan to travel fast or not.

I have an 04 2.4 Petrol Tourer 16" wheels and my label is based on load and speed.
