What's the length of a 1.8 catalytic converter

As above I'm looking to do away with the cat due to the fact a fair few have been stolen not far from me so if I get rid of mine now and put one there that clearly doesn't look oem I will save myself the hassle of having to replace the various bits that get damamaged if it gets stolen.

I had a look at mine the other day and it's quite short, can't be much more than 40-45 cm long, will measure it next time I'm under the car

I went to test drive a 2 litre accord over in Wakefield the other day, the dealer started it up and it was deafening- he had no idea some bugger swiped the cat the night before I was due to view. Was quite a good car otherwise

Yes there was one on eBay that had the cat nicked. You would have to buy a cat at £50 then a flexi section at £40 then a middle box at £60 so quite a costly theft
