Hi folks,
Just an observation rather than a fault but just thought I'd run it past you knowledgeable folks...recently replaced the front discs and pads of my Accord, fitted new Pagid discs and Honda pads...can braking fine, no juddering or squealing, stops in a straight line..magic. However I do notice that the outer edge of the offside disc is not being contacted by the pad by about 2mm...(other side is fine, pad right to the edge)...I've stripped it apart and cleaned everything again etc, the pad certainly reaches to the edge of the disc etc. Now I'm wondering if its anything todo with the caliper clips..I bought new ones. Mind you I'm not that fussed about it, just wondering if its normal and one of those things when replacing Honda front brakes ?. cheers for any thoughts...
