Factory security

Hi guys,

Finally got my car delivered from DE. Drived for 2 days already, really happy Its 2009 2.2 diesel, Executive, without lane ***ist and emergency brakes.

Question regarding OEM security. In Germany and Belgium it is restricted by law to have security with sound (siren?). So if the car is from Germany could it be that sound is just disabled, but still equipped?
How it is for you guys in UK? Not sure if Gen8 Accords have security with sound, just wondering.

Easiest way to test is to open a window, lock your car, wait about 30 seconds then wave your hand around inside. It'll soon go off if you have one.

There should also be a button next to the VST button with almost a WiFi looking logo. It disables the interior proximity alarm I think.

You'd got me wondering...

I don't think I've ever heard mine go off so I just tried it now: The indicators all flash and a siren wails. Nothing from the horn.

Sounds about right, it's a high pitched WEEOWWEEOWWEEOWWEEOW
