Posting by way of info..... my VSA/TSA/ABS and pretty much everything else illuminated a few months and 7k miles ago. When the car was off and locked the brake lights came on too. After 48hrs it returned to normal. Then the same thing happened a couple of weeks back, but just add the auto box not wanting to go into reverse sometimes too into the mix. It was found the ABS unit was at fault so it was sent away but upon testing it worked fine so back it came and in it went and all was dandy ..... for a week, and then illuminations reappeared so a new to me unit is being purchased to be cloned. An expensive operation on a older car not worth much to someone else but priceless to me.
