This isn't really a Honda-specific question... but do you know if it is possible to apply a huge photograph to a cover the entire bodywork of a car?   And if so roughly what would it cost?

It's certainly possible. A friend of mine owns a small print company and often supplies bespoke graphics for application to vehicles. Buses and taxis mostly, but also tradesman's vans, etc. Not just flat stickers, these are specifically shaped pieces to completely cover 3D areas. No idea of the cost or what sort of lifetime these would have.

Look up print companies in your area.
