Same in northern UK - in Autumn spraying Hammerite seal underneath or putting grease on the rusted areas helps

Any environment that is by the sea will test the anti corrosion properties of the panels and mechanics of the car.

The Honda is somewhat better in bodywork protection than similar aged vehicles, with perhaps the exception of Citroens I was looking at.
