Hi I have a 7th generation diesel tourer which has a vibration felt through the seat under load like second gear uphill and also at a constant 65-75 mph I’ve hd the drive shafts done new tyres on the front. Independent garage seems to think it may be the gearbox ? Gears select fine there is no knocking or anything like that any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Iv not heard many of these gearbox fail so very doubtful.
1st call I would get the balance checked again on your new tyres.
Was the drive shaft OEM and who fitted it.

Was the vibration there before you had the work done.

Book with a proper tyre shop that have can perform road force balancing also check all wheel and tyres are true round, then re balance and align after all problems solved.
Could be faulty driveshaft worst case.
