Hello everyone hope everyone's day is going well. I am looking for a bit of help if possible.
The garage changed my gear oil yesterday, the car was left out for me after hours, so I turned on nothing strange yet, then pulled away, no speedometer readings stayed at the 0, then I drove on a bit and the engine wouldn't vtec, after about 10 mins or so engine management light came on, then the car would vtec, I had to use my phone GPS to get my speed, I am wondering is it a loose connection to the speed sensor on the gearbox, or maybe damage to it, are they an expensive part to replace, if so any part numbers, sorry for all the questions I tried the search but didn't really find my answer.
It's a 06 cl9 accord. Thanks for your help guys

My first port of call would be the garage that changed the oil..!
I have just called them there. They are going to check it over again for me. I hoping they just didn't put the connection back or something along the line

Just back from the garage guys, looks like the sensor was chewed on one end.
Very strange.
I have ordered a new one from Honda and hopefully she will fix it
