Hey all,
Not posted for a while, and was hoping my next post would be announcing my dads new 8th hen, and not a failt
Anywho, my dads got a fully loaded 2010 Accord tourer diesel automatic. It only on 106,000 miles. When I bought the car there was a little smell off exhaust gas, but it seems to have escalated.
When pulling up to a stop, there is a HUGE amount of smoke coming from the near side rear of the engine. It seems to be rising from the bottom (lol).
Is this likely to be the EGR issue? Gotta take it into Honda to get looked at, as it might be covered under warranty, but he can’t really drive his new car as it looks and smells horrendous. Even though performance or economy hasn’t been effected.
There are also no warning lights on.
