Top mounted LCD panel and radio dead

Guys,

Yesterday while driving, it occured to me that my radio and top mounted lcd screen stopped working. (Accord 2003 - Premium Audio with Sat Nav)
Center screen is working, so navigation part is still working.
Where am I suppose to look first?
Anyone else who had the same problem?
 
Had the same problem on my 2006 sat nav. Very expensive display in Norway. Cost 8000 nkr. Found one on ebay from Lituania from one who was called "h0ndata" . Had a lot of used parts for ours cars. Costed me 500 nkr. Got my local dealer to change it.

So your center (main) screen was working?
 
The mainscreen was allright. The upper wasnt all black. You could see a weak light from it and when i pressed on top of the display it lighted up. Thought it just was bad connection, but i had to change it.

Fixed this on mine. The solders where the connection plug connect to the inner circuit board start to break up. You need to take it apart and get someone to re-solder it all. Very fiddly job but there should be plenty of electronic places that can do it for a small fee.

So you had the same problem as I have? This means that if there is a problem with the top mounted lcd screen, the radio stops working?
Or better: Wht functions did you loose when yous lcd stopped working?

No mine was just the top display going off. Did not affect the radio. Mine started to flicker and go on and off and finally went off completely. An internet search gave me the answers.
