2.4 CU2 Engine oil

Hi all,

3 months now since owning the CU2 and still loving the experience, But have noticed i'm losing oil, not sure if it's from consumption or leakage, not sure if either are a common fault, but i'll get my mechanic to check it out see if he can see anything underneath.

In the meantime just to keep everything topped up, what grade oil is recommended by us users? It's my daily driver covering 250miles a week and I do tend to put my foot down every now and then (It's too fun )

5w-40 for the 2.4. loss of oil can be expected due to the lighter grades of oil for less c02 and efficiency. Get someone to drive behind you while you open it up, just to be sure there's no puffs of blue smoke, it could be valve adjustment to something more serious.
