There is a specific cable for the ipod, but there is a usb port - I don't know for sure if that will work with Android or if it is just for external memory. But there is an aux in port so easily connected with a 9mm jack.

And yes, my car had the DVD sat nav unit - it's just another thing you need to remove temporarily to get the radio out.
