Rear bumper reflector part number?

Stupidly reversed into something and shattered the slim red reflector that runs along the bottom of my 2007 saloon.

Anyone know where i can get a replacement... or the part number to speak to Honda :s

Its item 3 and 4 on the below parts explosion diagram link depending if its left or right.
Not cheap.
Ask holdcroft honda, they should be able to get it cheaper than lings honda.

Remove them and cut some red reflective tape to fit in the recess?

Like this stuff

(apologies for AU link, just find it on UK site)

I've wondered many times why they are there, but a lot of cars seem to have them. Is it some sort of universal design rule?

I think its part of the EU design rules that there has to be reflective rear surfaces, since the taillights don't have them installed they have to fit them in the bumper.

Yeah they seem to be universal. The US Acura TSX and the AU Accord Euro have the same reflectors.

Trying to locate the cheapest replacements - searching under Acura TSX there are a few under ten dollars US delivered, from China.
