Washer pump and front grille weirdness

I pulled off the front bumper to investigate a headlight problem, and also discovered the reason why the windscreen washer fluid bottle leaked out 80% of water every time I filled it up!



I figured this is a HID headlight washer pump. But my car does not have HIDs. It does have lots of obviously breaker yard sourced parts used to repair front damage, and things like the holes in the front cover plate not lining up with the grille.



So the car used to have a different grille. And possibly different lights?

Q 1. Can anyone tell me if the HID washer pump was pre-fitted to non-HID model cars? The VIN is from 2006.

Q 2. If my car did have HIDs initially, does the photo of the grille perhaps indicate the crash damage was repaired with pre-facelift parts?

My now written off Facelift EX tourer 2008 had headlight washers as standard, probably the same pump as well because when the washer fluid ran low only the screen washers worked not the headlight washers.
I didn't have HID's either.

Rightio, thanks for that. So it looks like someone put a non-washer bumper and grille on this car. I might plumb in some actual headlight washers and connect it to the pump.
