This one has me baffled.I changed the clutch on my Accord at the beginning of March this year it is a 2.2 i-cdti.The DMF was checked and was within tolerance.Anyway driving home today on a flat road the revs increased to the red line like the clutch was slipping but road speed increased as well,I depressed the clutch pedal and pulled over.I stopped the engine and restarted only to have no drive whatsoever, but still needed clutch to change gear, the only odd thing is it will not now select reverse.Looking forward to your answers.

The lack of reverse gear could be a collapsed engine mount, which might also explain the loss of drive, since one of the half shafts is no longer connecting to an wheel hub, or possibly the gearbox.

My last Tourer MOT threw up a mount that had one stripped bolt and another that had snapped in half.

Agree with that, sounds like gears are engaging but drive not being transferred to the wheels through a disconnected output shaft.
