Hey guys

Got a type s with the non leather manual adjusting interior seats, thinking about putting a complete leather interior in. Does anyone know if the wiring is present for the electric seats regardless of which model accord it is? I would have thought they were all fitted with the same loom so the plugs should be there right?

No, the wiring is different.
I also have a Type-S with the half-leather manual seats and was thinking about it...

In the Type-S the wiring is only for the Seatbelt and Airbag.
The Leather seats have additional connectors for the heating and for the electric motors.
You could get the required 12V feed to these connectors from the cigar lighter socket or from other sources, this is not a problem.

The issue is, that this DIY could result in an SRS / Airbag error, because the seats' airbag module is different (built into the seat) and not coded to your car, so it would need to be replaced as well, or bypassed somehow. See this:

Short answer: It's doable, but it requires some electrical knowledge and it's risky and a lot of hassle. Therefore I discarded my plans :(
If you only want the looks, buy some decent aftermarket leather seat covers and you are good to go.
Or sell your Type-S and buy an Exec. :)
