Hello,

I have been thinking of fitting aftermarket reverse parking sensors to my car. I looked at different types but I cannot decide:
1) The 4-sensor system, for the ones where you have to drill holes into the bumper? -> I am really not keen on doing this. For me, it just does not look OK on the sedan.
2) What about the electro-magnetic strip, the one you have to stick it to the inside of the bumper -> For this the bumper needs to be removed, so some job to do... but how effective is this sensor?
3) Or shall I try the one where the 2 or 3 sensors (sometimes with a camera) are built into the number plate frame? -> But then, the sedan's number plate sits above the bumper, a little bit higher than on other cars. How would this affect the detection of the corner areas?

Any experiences? Recommendations? Opinions?
Thanks.

Sensors on the number plate only will not protect the vulnerable part of your car - The corners.
I can't comment on magnetic type from experience but I would imagine if they were any good they would be fitted by the trade.
