Hi I have a 2010 accord estate it is only getting 29 mpg very poor. Also if let to idle for a minute or two it cuts the turbo and won't rev past 3k and won't go over 50 mph. No engine warning lights on any help would be great thanks

It's a 2.2 I dtec I have changed the fuel filter under the bonnet

Strange I have 2011 idtec tourer and the fuel filter is under the rear of the car, in front of the nearside suspension units. Maybe because mine is a automatic box?

Auto is a different fuel filter setup, manual cars have it on the firewall, under a fusebox.
Try cleaning the MAF sensor, new airfilter and see if that makes any difference.
You can buy specific MAF cleaning spray, not brake cleaner.

We got to the bottom of it. The car had butchered software, bad checksum and deleted dtc tables meaning an underlying P00AF turbo error and also a glow plug error were trying to be suppressed.
