Huddersfield Honda, any good?

Hey all,

The dtec has got its 36k service coming up soon and i am thinking about going to Honda Huddersfield as i am in Leeds its not too far,just wondered if anybody here has experience
of it,i have previously used a dealer near York,but they tried charging me for the courtesy car and kept me waiting too long.

I will not use the Honda dealer in Leeds as when i was looking for the dtec they were less than competent....

Im not sure but there are a few members here not far from you.if its not to far hh in stoke is one of the best dealers around.
 
Agree with Brett,

Holdcroft Honda is not that far considering the peace of mind you will have.

I'm sure there was a thread in the newbie section that mentioned Huddersfield Honda, but I cannot remember whether it was a good or bad experience, I've had a look for it but as of yet not found it !
 
I've heard ok things about Hudds Honda but never used them. Both Bradford and Leeds are Stratstone. Best avoided for reasons mentioned already and I make a point of not using them for even the smallest things due to the way they've dealt with me in the past.
 
I've used Huddersfield Honda a fair bit. They did my manifold warranty FOC, service, new EGR and clutch change. All work carried out on time and as quoted. The EGR was a warranty claim through warranty direct that they managed and I got paid for.. The service manager there is Paul and is fine. No grumbles from me. The two women who work there aren't difficult on the eye either!

Thanks for the feedback,Stoke is a bit far for a service for me,i am going to try Huddersfield and see how we go.I want to buy a spacesaver kit as well for runs out with the family
as i don't fancy messing about with the foam should the worst happen,although i have been lucky so far,bring back a proper spare wheel one of the few negatives with the Accord
i think.
