Switch Illumination Quickie

Can someone tell me if the mirror heat switch and power window kill switches light up?

The mirror heater switch illuminates when it's on, but neither switch is backlit, making them less easy to find in the dark. All the other switches in the cluster are backlit.



Next question, if they're supposed to light, how do I get at them!

Matt this has been talked about and covered a few time have a search mate.
But as a pointer its to do with pre-facelift and facelift.The facelift cars light up but the pre dont.

Mines a facelift and neither of them two buttons light up!

Did not know I had a mirror heater switch till now ! had the car 6 months :rolleyes
