    Tensioner issues

    It's clockwise that you turn the bolt in order to release tension. The added problem is it's such a small space to work in...you cant get a socket in due to the tight space between the bolt and the engine mount (i think)

    Tensioner issues

    Hi, I own a 2005 icdti. Was changing alternator and tensioner bolt burred/rounded badly. Tried a lot of ways to move the tensioner to allow serpentine belt to go back on but no luck. I am ***uming I now need to replace the tensioner to get out of this situation? Any advice much appreciated...
