Yeah believe you’re right. I actually found one on Ali express that is compatible with factory navi. Like you said, it will feed through the aux line. It costs about the same price to do if your way and think your way makes the car looks cleaner so gonna go with that. Thank you

Is there a way to keep the original stereo so you keep the air con display screen and just get a big screen to go on top to replace the old navi screen?
