Tensioner issues

Hi, I own a 2005 icdti. Was changing alternator and tensioner bolt burred/rounded badly. Tried a lot of ways to move the tensioner to allow serpentine belt to go back on but no luck. I am ***uming I now need to replace the tensioner to get out of this situation? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks
 
It's clockwise that you turn the bolt in order to release tension. The added problem is it's such a small space to work in...you cant get a socket in due to the tight space between the bolt and the engine mount (i think)
