Hello, I wondered if anyone can help me with this problem. My battery goes flat if I don’t use the car for a couple of days. A voltmeter shows a continuous drain of between 0.2 and 0.5V.

I pulled the fuses. In the main fuseboxin the engine bay to voltage dropped to .02v when I pulled fuse 15 which is for “backup, ACC”.

Can anyone explain what this fuse supplies please?

In the fusebox in the drivers footwell, the voltage dropped to around 0.19-0.15v when I pulled fuses 6 (interior light) and 7 (back-up).

Can anyone tell me what I can do next? This seems to be quite a common fault and reading one thread can be fixed by removing the Bluetooth module, only problem is I don’t believe the 2005 accord has Bluetooth?

My tourer is a 2004 and it had the bluetooth module. It was located above pedals up behind steering column....just unclip and remove.I believe an alternative location for the module is under the centre colsole near handbrake so access there a little trickier.
This seems to solve most power drain issues so i would check this carefully first. As it happens mine didn't drain battery but as i had no use for it anyway i ripped it out as a preventative measure.

Thanks mate. I think you are right but I can’t find the Bluetooth module anywhere! I’ll post a separate thread on locating it

I found the module in the end in the central console just behind the hazard light button. I unhooked it and will test it tomorrow as it's too late now (and dark)

Hmm, so there are currently three possible positions for the bluetooth module. As per the earlier post I did not think the Accord pre-facelift had one but should I get time tomorrow I will check my Tourer.

It is possible VIN number records mght help, since Honda may have the data of the years and variants which had a module fitted, and where.

Alternatively of course, I could search for Bluetooth enabled kit with the mobile whilst sitting in the car, though that would only show up if the unit is functional.

Hello, I found mine - in the dashboard, just behind and above the hazard light switch

thanks!

I pulled the manual from the garage earlier (2005 Tourer) , no mention of Bluetooth/connectivity or fuses relating to either.
