I am looking to replace my old Clarke pack that gave up the ghost a while ago, and was just wondering what every one else uses / recommends? Especially those in the trade, what do you use?
I don't mind spending a fair bit, as i look after quite a few cars in the family, so it will get quite a bit of use, so need a good reliable one. I'm not too keen on the mini lithium ones, as i can't see them lasting long. Thanks, Ian

I have been using the SIP1600 battery booster pack for over 5 years now.
Amazing bit of kit, I hardly charge it and just sits in the boot of the car and barely discharges.

A friend of mine who used to work in the car recovery business, had one in his truck and recommended it to me at the time.

Its an old skool bit of kit, quite heavy and bulky but has a huge capacity battery that will never let you down.

Its a dedicated battery booster so no fancy light or compressor. Its a true focused battery booster.
Started up my dead icTDI Accord with a completely dead battery with no hesitation at all.

My one is 5 years old and still going strong.
Always been tempted to upgrade to a Noco battery booster due to its compact size, but I have to say this SIP1600 has been impressive over the years.

Thanks, it looks like a very good unit. I've never heard of that one. Auto express have given it a decent review as well. It's cheaper than the equivalent Clarke power packs. I might purchase this as it looks very robust. Cheers

Your welcome Ian.

I tried running it to power my old 32 inch samsung tv via an AC inverter. It kept the TV running for 30 mins. Haha.

Takes a while to charge from fully dead though. More than 24 hours i think due to its low input current from the adpater.

Great bit of kit
