    Fuel consumption

    When car was serviced did they replace the fuel filter, as its tucked away underneath the car it can get overlooked. When i purchased my car dealer said it would get a full service which it did barring the fuel filter.

    Possibly droplinks had similar issue with my 1.8, replaced all four mainly for peace of mind, result no more clunking.

    Looking at the pics of the foglights they should fit okay, ***uming that your 6th gen is the pre facelift. The facelift has different style foglight.

    Window Misting

    I find that closing the driver/passenger dash vents will give you more air at the windscreen vents, this seems to keep the windscreen from misting up. As Carl has said check pollen filter, because it's tucked away behind glovebox it can tend to be overlooked during servicing

    Filled my 2002 1.8 manual up last friday ready for trip to holdcroft,so far i have done 375 miles with just below a 1/4 tank left so should be looking at getting well over 400 miles to a tank full.

    bleeding brakes

    I'm in the process of replacing my rear calipers and would like to know if there is a correct sequence for bleeding the brakes. Also can anybody shed any light on the correct way to adjust the handbrake after disconnecting/reconnecting.
