Cheers Guys, I just unplugged mine and plugged it back in and even after locking the car, leaving it 5 mins and trying it again it seems to work, so fingers crossed its sorted and if not then I know where it is located so that I can replace it easy enough. Thanks

    Bluetooth not working

Hi All, I have a 2006 facelift saloon ex with built in handsfree / bluetooth. This has all been working fine till about 2 weeks ago. To try and sort this issue I have tried resetting the system, disconnecting the battery, re-pairing my phone, pairing it with 3 other phones (one iphone, one...

Still have hesitation after FSV change

I would just say that it is a common issue on the facelift if you have one. I know a whole load of people which have the issue now. I have changed MAF, EGR, FSV, MAP, FF and a number of other things. I have now had the remap removed and its nowhere near as noticable. Yes the remap exagerates it...

    Two different idling sounds

If you have your climate set to auto I would go with what Brett said. The aircon seems to kick in and out all the time (hot or cold) to try and keep the car within the temp set.

    49mpg from 2.4 petrol

I have had my trip tell me over an average journey of 564 miles that I was getting 72.4mpg average. I then calculated the mpg from the mileage and filling it (number of litres) and had got 49.7mpg. Recently my computer has only been a few mpg out (between 2-4mpg) on the last few tanks, but that...

    First crunch

Des, from past experience, when I made a claim that was not my fault it did not affect my renewal premium at all. The reason I know is that I was hit within a couple of weeks before my renewal. A few days before I had been on a comparison site and got a few quotes. Luckily the person who hit me...

Anyone get fumes in cabin after getting new manifold?

Yes there is a warranty on warranty work. it should be covered for 12 months. There was a slight smell when mine was changed, which I was told there would be, but when mine was put back together it had an oil seal which failed and was leaking oil over the drive shaft and then splattering it on...

    Heavy clutch?

Fluid wont really make it any easier, all that will do is change the bite point slightly. All new fluid will do is get rid of any air in your system (or that has penetrated the old fluid) and any possible moisture. If your fluid has never been changed it maybe worth getting it done anyway, but...

    Boot problem

Hi Phill, Sorry for the delay, I just had a quick look at my car and cant see any spring/cable anywhere. The two rods however should span the full width of the boot. In the lings diagram, these rods are part 16 and 17 and clip to the chasis at one end and part 3/4 at the other end and held by...

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

Cheers Paul, I do the same, use teh Iphone app. But interestingly I dont think mine resets manually when I refule as I always do it as I drive off the forecourt and its still reading the same as when I stopped on the mpg counter. I know that there is trip A and trip B, I always leave A and reset...

    DTC P1237

Ahhh, the old non genuine filter... Well I would change that for a genuine one before you do anything else, especially if the fault wasnt there before. ps Only use genuine filters on the diesel accord ;) and welcome along Andrew

    Boot problem

Right, to try and be as helpful as possible I have posted two photos of the saloon. In the middle at the top of the boot to the right of the boot light there are two bars that should span the width of the boot and are held in by the plastic clip visible in the first image (Grey clip pointed to...

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

Paul is that Calculated or on the computer? my computer is saying around 46 over the last couple of tanks, but I have calculated it to about 43mpg, not too bad accuracy wise. Although I am sure my car has some sort of underlying issue with fuelling (well documented on the forum before people ask)

    Wobble/judder when accelerating

Stephen, is it there every time you accelerate? or just at certain speeds? Also you havent had any new tyres recently have you? Finally does it do it on all road surfaces or is it a certain road?

    Check System

Not had the issue myself, but the reason your light went out I suspect is because you ahd started the car 3 times since for more than 30 seconds. If you do this and the car doesnt pick up the fault again in these 3 starts, then the light goes out. Sounds like it picked a fault up, but I would...
