Dont break it Carl! or are you going to butcher your old one? I emailed Lings late last night to see if their 3 day estimate was right. Cant believe how long the dealer I have ordered it with say it is going to take!!!

It must be a fair size dealership as they are open till 8 ever night and are linked to a chain of a few dealerships. I may e-mail lings and ask them if they can get them in the next few days. No other Honda dealerships near me apart from Marshall ones! :)

Cheers Nuno. Infact I think I remember you mentioning this last year. Well someone definitely did, because I tried it, but unfortunately this didnt work for me :D I still have my hopes set on the frequency solenoid valve :D Good info though and definitely worth a try people!

Your not wrong there Dan, my computer is ALWAYS at least 10mpg out making me think oh I have done well... then put the figures into my iphone app or on my spreadsheet and it 10-15mpg less :)

It was there a bit at first, but I noticed it a lot more the second time and its there quite a bit today. Didn't really notice if it was quieter, but is does sound different. Also had a look at the swirl valve lever when it was disconnected and it doesn't move (as I suspected) when you plug it...

Revs were between 1.5-2K its a big roundabout m1/m69 interchange, car was warming up about up to temp and it does it there nearly every day. VSA wasnt cutting in. Well I will eagerly await your ****ysis Carl. Good Luck and keep me posted.

Doubt it Fahad if what Adam says is right the I ***ume it is the control valve itself. Will wait to see the results of Carls then order mine, although I had some jerking today on mine in 3rd gear when going round a roundabout with the valve disconnected. Hmmm could just be more money wasted for me!
