    is this with the radio off? i havnt come accross this before i must admit. could possibly be the compressor clutch itself if it happens only when it kicks in. do you have to strain to hear it or is it quite noticeable? allways difficult without hearing it first hand lol

    honda are not the only ones to have trouble with there diesel engines. you ask any Awful German car specialist and he will run off a list longer then his arm on faults with there engines. common problems on *** diesels is injectors failing at close to a grand a piece!!!!!

    the car will gereraly start its own idle learn procedure although it can be initialised using a hds tester. the same as what cj has menchoned, get the car to full running temp and let it idle on its own for approx 5 to 10 mins.
