    Drivers Window switch

No its not difficult really, there are access holes cut out of the actual door. There are two bolts holding the motor mechanism on to the window behind the panel, and three or four bolts holding the motor onto the door. You'll probably need a second pair of hands to hold the pane of glass in...

Rear brake pads worn quickly, could they be stuck?

It's probably normal wear, I just got the feeling there was more depth on them the last time I checked!

Rear brake pads worn quickly, could they be stuck?

Hey lads, A couple of days ago I noticed a squeak or a low pitched squeal from my brakes, it was just the once so I put it down to water on the discs, but today I went out and noticed the pads have worn down. Now to me they seemed to have worn quickly, but then again maybe not as the Honda...

    Irish parts

Probably too late now but I'd say Holdcroft all the time, other than that I use Judges Honda Garage here in Ballina, Mayo. Both of them are very pleasant to deal with although Holdcroft would probably have a better price :)

    Drivers Window switch

Sounds to me like your motor is gone and it just so happened that you got a faulty switch in the replacement unit. I've swapped mine over and back without any programming or booting from Honda. My passenger side window would make up its own mind on when it wanted to open or close so one day I...

    Satnav with handsfree caling....opinions?

Yeah I looked into that before buying it but it will only work when the xcarlink is in use! If I have the radio alone on its useless.

    ****** seats !

I find the hoover with a pointed end picks them out with no hassle at all! For a quicker fix maybe try some duct tape, just get a small strip and go all over the seats. Picks up hairs, crumbs and any other little bits of junk! ;)

    Satnav with handsfree caling....opinions?

It probably would if I got the correct software. I don't have daily use for the satnav, the only reason it crossed my mind was the price difference between that and the Parrot kit. If it would do the same job as the handsfree kit it would be as well to have the two for the price of one B)

    Satnav with handsfree caling....opinions?

Well I have an Xcarlink installed so music isn't an issue its just for calls really. It's really just a case of, will A be better alone or if I get A+B for the same price will some of the features suffer?

    Satnav with handsfree caling....opinions?

Lads, I'm currently in the middle of installing the Xcarlink (well worth it's price by the way) but while I have the centre console pulled out it crossed my mind to install a car kit. I've looked at 3 mainly, all Parrot units, the CK3000, the CK3100 and the MKi9100. Any opinions on these? But...

Lowering spring install - what not to do....

Yeah I seen the pics alright, it looks pretty bad  If you manage to take a full length photo of the side throw it up here and we'll take a look. Just sometimes the ground can play tricks ;)

7th gen facelift flat wiper retrofit

Just to confirm, this is for a pre-facelift Accord? I find the stock wipers horrific, they leave a little smear at the edge of the drivers side wiper. Seems to be common on the Accord as three others I know do it too

Lowering spring install - what not to do....

I noticed the same in mine, its not totally obvious just a bit more subtle! Dont want to know what will happen if I put three people in the back! :P

Lowering spring install - what not to do....

They are Eibach Pro springs, 35mm drop on the box. Might settle a little more over time, but realistically Eibach springs don't sink much more once fitted. I'm probably too late to help yourself but it might help others because it baffled me for a while :) You'll see where the base and back of...

Well the job was done and I gave it a full clay and polish yesterday so here's the pics! ;)

Lowering spring install - what not to do....

Generally a good idea is to google it, I had Apex springs before and they were around 45mm lower, Eibach (which I would recommend) do a Pro Kit which gives 35mm drop or a Sportline Kit which gives around 55mm of a drop! I'm not totally sure but I think dcperformance.co.uk should have them?

its been a fun 8 months

Dude the Accord looked very well, cant say I've noticed it here before but I'm really only new to this site! I'd love to have seen a set of the Audi TT RS rims on her, and maybe a little lip spoiler! ;) Looks to be in great shape though! Best of luck with the new motor :D

Lowering spring install - what not to do....

I paid €100 to a local mechanic before, so you could say £20 per corner over there maybe?
