    Boot problem.

Could be a fault with the locking mechanism then. Fuse #21 in footwell also worth a check.

    Boot problem.

Could be a fuse. Have a look at this thread with the fuse list. Don't know your model but suspects could be #41 or 42 or 7 further down in the other location: https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/fuse-listing.15684/

    Petrol in my DTEC

I'd just get the diesel to the fuel rail and see, if it is knackered then it won't start

    Petrol in my DTEC

Think you got it, I would be trying to find a way of pumping the diesel through to the injectors without actually starting the car. Maybe undo the feed to the fuel rail and keep turning it over until diesel comes out

    Second hand parts

I've always used Ebay, easy to search for stuff and usually more to choose from. Never had a problem. A lot of breakers list their parts on there anyway

    Head light problem

If fuses and bulbs are all good next would be the headlight relay or the control switch/stalk. Not sure if there is an accessible relay. Check under the fuse box cover for info.

    Head light problem

Don't the high and low beams have separate fuses? Maybe the low beam fuses have blown too. The bulbs are okay?
