There's a time and a place for thrashing a car , when I'm on my own in the car it gets driven as hard as the conditions and traffic let me ( well within the law ) however when I have my wife and kids in the car it gets driven carefully and returns very good mpg for the size / style of car .

To be honest the 2.4 accord isn't that bad on fuel at all if you drive carefully ( when I say carefully I don't mean like a 70 year old ) lol. On a long steady run it is possible to get close to 40mpg out of my 2.4 .

Out of all the BMW's the 7 series of that year is my favourite and it would be the only one I would be prepared to do a swap with ( although there are a few things to consider first ). 7 series Most are autos Fuel economy isn't that great There getting fairly old now Dated interior Dash...

If it not broken don't try and fix it . Lol

A roof mounted flip down monitor is the way I went , I put up a thread on here somewhere which might be of interest . Everything I've fitted can be removed without leaving any holes if I sell the car plus the roof mounted monitor is harder to spot than headrest monitors ( less wiring to ).

Another good way to change the look of your brakes would be to get some calipar covers ( I know it sounds a bit wrong ) but I fitted them to my wife's skyline and they looked very good . The other plus side with them was that they kept the brake dust to a minimum for some reason .

Thanks for the info matey . I did it on my skyline afew years ago in the same way but I wasn't sure how the 7 gen ones would stand up when being placed in an oven lol. Thanks again mate I'll give it ago .

Has anyone ever managed to remove the headlight lens covers on a 7th gen before without breaking them ? Mine could do with a good clean on the inside where I've had a condensation problem . I've done the same thing with my previous car with great results but I'm not sure how easierly the Honda...

This is how my exhaust tips cleaned up ( Keeping in mind they were covered in a thick coating of black carbon ).

Check your tyres mate ( the rears mainly ) if there worn on the inside it will make a nasty noise ( I've had the same thing up in till yesterday when I changed the rear tyres.

I've had the same noise and it's been driving me mad lol, I changed the rear tyres today and the noise has gone at last . It's like driving a different car all together . I too was convinced it was a wheel bearing noise for ages intill I noticed it made no difference to the sound when loading...

Cheers mate, they seem to be standing up well too . I've been driving in some really nasty weather over the last couple of days including some very large puddles and they haven't moved or filled with water yet lol.

The calipers are red on my car , the last owner painted them some time back and they could do with being done again tbh. They look fairly good in red against a silver car I think.

Theres a company called Lamin-x uk that do headlight films Adam. They make it in a few different coloured tints , blue , gun smoked , yellow , green and I think they make a clear one as well .

Tell me about lol. I've been messing around with the cable for the last week trying to see if it's just a broken wire plus had the cd changer apart to clean the laser lens ( non of which seemed to do any good ). Today I had ago at running an iPod feed into the aux cable which didn't work either...

Just a quick update , after not working for the last two weeks or more it has just started to play ball again and started to work perfectly ( strange ).

That looks very nice indeed , I didn't know they made a type S badge for the front grill .
