    Suspect tensioner pulley bearing

Hi Andrew, Believe the bearing I bought for the tensioner pulley was:- 6303 DDU NSK Deep Groove Bearing 17x47x14mm ~£7

    Gen 7 exhaust manifold

I had mine welded ...initial improvement but then got worse over time (put it down to numerous heat cycles cracking the repair weld). Replaced it with a cheap eBay aftermarket as I was out of warranty ...it did improve, but I still felt it didn't provide 100% clean air to the cabin.

    Tailgate Operation via Key Fob

The window lock pushbutton & doors lock rocker switch were playing up - doors would only lock with the window pb up, but would only unlock when the pb was down (I think I've got that the right way around!) Anyhow, this did not always work. ***umed it may be a bad track on PCB inside the switch...

car battery changed, key fob not working

You're right, it has to be the correct type of switch, from an identical doner model.

    Tailgate Operation via Key Fob

Turns out no tailgate reset is required - just swapped with yet another unit & all is well. Perfect.

car battery changed, key fob not working

Did you manage to get this fixed? How? I'm in the same boat, with no boot open/close function via key fob. Everything else works, including central locking via key fob.

    Tailgate Operation via Key Fob

Hi all, I've managed to create another little tailgate problem. Due to a fault with my master door multiplex control unit (driver's window switch panel) where the window lock rocker switch & central locking pushbutton were performing randomly, I sourced a spare from a sister Tourer. Hoping it...

7th Gen Tourer Rear Brake Overhaul

Hi Matt, could tell me how much you paid for the Honda hose (with TA discount)? Looking to replace both rear hoses on my '05 Tourer but think I've been quoted the wrong part through Holdcroft. Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

2nd hand unit turned up, claimed to be a fully working head, but the 6 CD drive would not work. To save the hassle of sending it back & sourcing an alternative, I just fitted the pictured PCB into my original unit -everything is now working great. No codes required. Job done. ...now, what to...

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

Looking at all possible Nav options via ebay, can anyone confirm if the various letter/number combinations eg SEA, SEF, E450, E830, etc. are interchangeable with my existing DVD player & disk for a '54 tourer? There are various combos available but would they all function? I can't find info on...

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

I suspect the infrared diodes are not on, so probably due to a fault on one of the boards posted below. Anyhow, I intend to get a 2nd hand head unit, but have concerns over compatibility. I'm sure I've read somewhere that the later 7th gen's replaced the infrared system with an actual touch...

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

Stripped down the unit to sub-components, couldn't find anything obvious. Would the System Links screen show a red indicator under 'Disp' if there was a hardware issue? https://i.imgur.com/IGe7yKN.jpg Btw -which fuse will isolate the Nav system? Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

Just to update, had the DVD drive out to clean lenses with IPA. Noticed 3 loose connectors & inline fuse (2A) -could one of these be influencing the touchscreen function? Has anyone seen these whilst taking their drive out? Is there a schematic available for this system? Next -going to attempt...

    Sat Nav -Touch Screen Issue

Jumped in the car (2.2 cdti tourer) for first time since Santa's been, I thought Happy Christmas! the screen won't work. It gets as far as the disclaimer warning screen, waiting for OK to be pressed. Neither the screen button or the joystick button (as referred to within Manual) will continue...

    Suspect tensioner pulley bearing

Quick update:- -replaced bearing in tensioner pulley. Didn't fix the rattle. -bought & fitted new alternator pulley. Rattle gone plus car does feel quieter all round, so all is good. Cleaned out alternator & checked bearings whilst in there, just in case. Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk

    Suspect tensioner pulley bearing

Long time no post. Have got the gremlins in the aux belt pulleys ('54 Accord Tourer cdti). Rattle can be heard for 30 secs, but only from a cold start. Searching around highlighted the overloading problem of the original long belt, so I changed to the shorter version & removed the idler pulley...

    ...Another Tailgate Problem (Tourer)

Ignore my last post! Problems still exist, obviously an intermittent fault ...found yet another cable had failed around the l/h hinge -take note that this was not sheared right through this time, only the cores were cut but not the insulation. (Photo taken after baring ends) Repair done with...
