guys this is proth that you can still get almost 50 mpg in a 2.4 petrol.
with a steady 50 mph on flat roads i got almost 50 mpg.
im away so will post prove tomorrow as by trip computer.
cj will love this lol

WOW, amazing. We are struggling to get that from our 2.2 diesel let alone a 2.4 petrol. We've found that where you buy your fuel seems to make a difference.

Doing the same runs at the same speeds first time round we were getting 48.9 changed to a cheaper diesel when we next fuelled up and we were getting 45. Gone back to the more expensive diesel and we are getting back up to 48.9 again.

Amazing MPG for a 2.4, but not compared to this.

And nope, that wasn't over 2.5 miles, the trip counter had rolled over during the journey.

Good effort! I managed that over 15 miles from Leeds to Huddersfield after work at about 3am in a previous Seat Leon Cupra R.

cj haven't seen this yet lets see his comments lol

I'm still not convinced this ain't a waking dream he's having as a subliminal revolt to his fuel based treachery

ill put up some more readings as i drive them lol

I wanna see VPP not VPD on the fuel receipts - dated, time stamped and with GPS confirmed photo's ;).
