Hi,
It's time to get my 4th gen back on the road. Only problem is that the sills on both sides have rotted out at the rear which I would suspect may be quite a common issue.
It seems that sill panels are not available from Honda nor from the common aftermarket UK suppliers. There is a big European supplier that lists some sill panels at reasonable prices but on enquiry the postage is eye wateringly expensive. A £20 panel attracts £170 postage costs!
My question is has anyone found a work around for this? Is there somewhere more reasonable to buy panels? Is there another more commonly available panel that can be made to fit? I only need the inner and outer end foot or so and therefore could easily cut something up that has similar profiles. Any help would be gratefully received.
