Almost as easy as the 7th Gen pollen filter

Just open glove-box as normal and remove the shelf  loosen it at the font at the very top hanging points and pull it out, the rest is plain sailing as illustrated ;)

Now remove the cover to reveal the element housing

Maybe worth a quick vacuum inside before installing the new filter?

Now reverse the procedure, job done :D

Did this yesterday - 5 min job. Filter was filthy!

Process above is spot on.

Seeing these pics reminds me that the shelf inside my glove box won't stay fixed and up clips with even the lightest item inside. Anyone else notice this apparently poor build quality?

errr ...what shelf?

Seems that mine is missing... or maybe taken out by previous owner as it is not very sturdy

Mines Ok, has the handbook pack in it, fairly heavy. Maybe your is broken or not clipped in properly.

£31 for a new one...ouch !

Great bit of help. Easy, just remember to push the side clips inwards and install the filter air flow downwards. Many thanks.
