Had the car serviced yesterday (55 plate 2.4 saloon), and all is well except the brake light on the right side of the boot lid isn't working at all. My mechanic said there's no current at the bulb and he's having it back after Chrimbo to sort, the brake light on the body works fine so it's not great but no emergency.
I'm just wondering is this common and are there any tips / pointers / pics / diagrams I can offer him from someone that's been there and fixed it?
He doesn't want to just wire it from the other brake lights, he's a retired aircraft technician so it'll be done right or not at all. I'm sure it'll be sorted without ***istance, but it may cut the labour time if I can point him in the right direction!
Cheers all.
