Have a problem that has now happened 3 times! The car stutters and dies, for all the world out of fuel. After restarting and a bit of revving up it goes again without a problem. It has happened 3 times and always on the day after putting petrol in? I filled up yesterday from half full to full and drove home no problem. Today it went half a mile, stopped at lights and when i tried to pull away it just putt, putt and died. Again after a restart and a lot of revving it behaved.
Is not a wrong fuel problem. All ideas appreciated
Mike

Sounds like a blocked fuel filter mate which is a fairly straight forward change at a garage or possible blocked fuel pump.
Maybe worth going to a garage and get them to test it.

Check for any fault codes first.
It sounds like a starvation of petrol or could be an air leak somewhere.
Check the PCV valve hose.
How old are your spark plug.

Ah dam yes fault codes I'm so used to older cars with no diagnostics plug. Hope you manage to fix it though.
